BMW e46 2007 Review

Exterior Design

Let’s examine the BMW e46’s external styling. Everyone knows that BMW vehicles have a sophisticated look. Each model has a little variation on this. The BMW e46 features a compact rear, a short forward overhang, and a long hood. Therefore, the car has a comparatively sporty look.

Upon closer inspection, we can observe that this car has the BMW-only Signature Kidney Grilles. Above it, the BMW logo is clearly visible.

There are 18-inch alloy wheels available as a set of wheels. Sportier versions may have different dimensions. This car has only 130 mm of ground clearance. Due to the low ground clearance, going on a somewhat potholed road can be difficult, although good performance is still achievable.

Interior Design

You can tell the BMW e46 was constructed with premium materials as soon as you step inside. The construction quality of this car is superb.

As soon as we step inside the vehicle’s cabin, we observe that our seats have decent holders. 

Regarding the steering wheel, a global steering wheel is provided. This is made in a way that makes us feel like superstars. It is also easy to drive and has a respectable grip.

There is an analog speedometer and an RPM meter on the meter panel. For a more athletic look, the dashboard has also been given a two-tone finish. Two air conditioning vents, AC control controls, and gear levers are located on top of the center console. 

One noteworthy feature is that the shutter switches are housed within the center console itself.

Compared to previous versions, the passenger cabin is less comfortable. There is not enough headroom or legroom as a result. 

Moreover, three passengers cannot ride in the back due to a floor hump in the middle.

Performance

The BMW e46 has an inline 6-cylinder engine. This engine can produce 228 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque.

A 6-speed manual transmission is mated to the inline 6-cylinder engine.

This vehicle takes 6.9 seconds to reach 100 km/h. There is a top speed of 247 km/h.

Ride Quality

Let’s now examine the BMW e46 2007 vehicle’s ride quality. It offers a great vision for the driver. While driving, the noise from the engine is audible inside the cabin.
