Hyundai Tucson 2004 Review

Hyundai entered the compact SUV market with the introduction of the Tucson in 2004. The Tucson was in its initial generation as of 2004, and it was produced until 2009. In the expanding SUV industry, this vehicle was intended to provide affordability, simplicity, and mobility. Since our last update in April 2023, the Tucson has undergone multiple generations, each of which has improved its features, functionality, and allure.

Exterior Design

The 2004 Tucson has a sturdy yet small-sized design that was common to SUVs from the early 2000s. It offered a well-balanced combination of an adventurous spirit and an urban-friendly size. Because Bangladesh’s terrain can vary widely, the ground clearance of around 183mm (7.2 inches) made it suited for managing an array of road conditions.

Interior Design

The Tucson’s cabin is simple to use and well-organized. For a car its size, the cabin’s layout is optimized for convenience and space. With the back seats up, the boot capacity reaches a respectable 644 liters, and with the chairs folded down, it is substantially more, making it ideal for families and practical.

Performance

A 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine or a more potent 2.7-litre V6 engine are the standard powertrain options for the 2004 Tucson. These choices provide a respectable mix of power and fuel economy, which is especially important in Bangladesh, where fuel economy is a top priority.

Ride Quality

The suspension of the Tucson is set to balance handling and comfort, making for a decent ride. It is not as smooth as some of its rivals, but it nevertheless provides a passable driving experience on both tougher and urban terrain.

Safety and Technology

The 2004 Tucson comes equipped with standard safety features like airbags and ABS. In terms of technology, it has standard equipment such as a CD player and AM/FM radio, with more sophisticated options available for higher trim levels.
