The Suzuki Wagon R, a popular kei vehicle, has been a mainstay of tiny urban mobility since its introduction in 1993. By 2015, the Wagon R was in its fifth generation (MH23S series), which began in 2008 and lasted until 2015. The Wagon R, known for its boxy form and effective use of space, is a popular choice in markets such as Bangladesh due to its practicality and cost.

Exterior Design 

2015 Suzuki Wagon R FZ maintained the model’s characteristic tall-boy styling, optimizing inside capacity within a small footprint. The exterior was practical and basic, prioritizing functionality above aesthetics. The ground clearance was about 165mm, which is sufficient for urban driving and handling modest road irregularities.

Interior Design

Despite its modest outward proportions, the Wagon R FZ had a surprising interior. The boot space was modest but well-organized, with approximately 180 liters that could be increased by folding down the rear seats for more cargo room.

Performance 

The Wagon R FZ, powered by a 660cc engine in accordance with kei vehicle standards, had modest performance. It was ideal for city driving, delivering enough power for daily commutes and errands while maintaining good fuel efficiency.

Ride Quality

The ride quality was good for a little car, with a suspension designed for city driving. While not very sporty, it provided a comfortable ride in urban settings and was simple to operate in tight places.

Safety & Technology

Safety and technology in the Wagon R FZ were basic but suitable for its class and date. It offered conventional amenities such as airbags and ABS, although technology features were limited to basic entertainment and comfort.
