The A-Star, also known as the Suzuki Alto in some areas, is one of Suzuki’s efforts to appeal to the tiny car class, offering urban drivers an efficient option for city driving. The 2010 model is the seventh generation of the Suzuki Alto, which debuted in 1979.

Exterior Design

The A-Star 2010 has a cheerful and young look. Large headlamps, a wide front grille, and a unique tail end accentuate the vehicle’s compact chassis. Ground clearance is suitable for city roads, at around 160mm, ensuring that most urban bumps and irregularities do not cause a problem. 

Interior Design 

The interior of the A-Star is basic but functional. Space for rear passengers can be limited due to the vehicle’s design to accommodate five people. The dashboard interface is user-friendly, with controls conveniently located. While not large, the boot capacity is enough for daily tasks and short journeys, at approximately 177 litres.

Performance 

The A-Star 2010 is powered by a 1.0L K10B petrol engine, which provides a good blend of power and fuel efficiency. While hardly a monster, its 67 horsepower is enough for city driving and occasional highway travel. 

Ride Quality 

The A-Star’s tiny size allows for a nimble driving experience. It’s simple to navigate city traffic, and its size allows for easy parking in tight spaces. The suspension is designed for comfort on city streets, absorbing minor potholes and bumps effectively.

Safety & Technology 

For its time and segment, the A-Star included standard safety equipment like front airbags, ABS, and EBD. The infotainment system was straightforward, with an AM/FM radio, CD player, and manual air conditioning. 

In Conclusion, it can be said that this car is very reliable, while while several areas may be improved, its primary features make it a dependable option for urban commuters.
